Some of my best childhood memories are with you. You were an Uncle to me &  a 2nd "fun" Dad. When I first heard the term "GirlDad", I didnt quite understand what it meant, but as I thought about it more, you were actually the 1st "GirlDad" I've ever known & you were the best at it. You took care of me as if I were your own. From Garfield/Roosevelt games with my Dad, Eddie& you & Nis or summer days at Knotts, going to the swap meet. From watching Marla& Nis play softball on the weekends to dealing with our dumb teeanager shenanigans in Whittier,  you were a constant & you ALWAYS made me my favorite bologna fried ❤  Thank you for always treating me like another daughter. Time is so precious here on Earth, I am thankful that memories last forever.  Until we see eachother again, all my love, Cheers to you!

I love you dad. I will always be your little girl ❤️ 1 of my favorite memories is when you would come to visit and get a room for you can swim with my kids (Jen & Josh) Thank You for being the best dad a girl can ask for you always had my back. I loved talking to you about all the different restaurants you would go to eat by yourself because you would say a mans gotta eat 😊 May you RIP 🇺🇸 And enjoy being with Tata and grandma. I can see your face smiling to be reunited. Until we meet again 💫

Robert, I'll never forget the fun & laughter you'd take with you to family functions especially at Auntie Hopies! That laughter you had could brighten up anyone's day! You'll be deeply missed! May you dance on the clouds of Heaven & watch over your precious family... God bless you Robert 💜🙏💜

Compadre! You were loved so much, you had us all laughing even on a bad day. Always had a song to sing with a tear in your eye from memories, even childhood silly songs from our era we sang together when we could remember the words. And the restaurants never had "chile" hot enough for you "oh well" but we all had great fun times together, compadre you will be missed, but always thought of with an occasional laughter from memory.

I just want to thank you so much for your friendship Robert, and I wish I could've known you years before, but in the short time I've known you we became good "homeboys" I loved when you would sing your rancheras, oldies and the songs you added your own words you were  fun loving all the time, Robert you will be missed RIP my buddy.

I will always remember as I wax only a kid back then you walking into Hopie and Afred house with a playpen and everything else your girls could possibly need during your visit. But also your laughter. Even though I haven’t seen you in years you will always be in my heart. I will never forget that laughter. It was unique.. May you RIP Robert
