Born on August 22, 1958, in Manila, Philippines, Robertino Vergara Concillo, affectionately known as "Tino," embarked on a remarkable journey that touched the lives of countless individuals. He was the beloved son of Virginia and Carlos Concillo and sibling to Tess De Marzo and Sammy Concillo (deceased).
Tino's academic excellence shone brightly from his early years. He graduated with high school honors from the prestigious University of Santo Tomas, where his passion for learning ignited. His dedication and talents earned him a full-ride scholarship to Ateneo de Manila University, where he pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Management Engineering, further cementing his reputation as an exceptional scholar.
It was during his college years that Tino's life took a beautiful turn. Fate introduced him to the love of his life, Ella Concillo, and their bond was destined to last for a lifetime. Tino and Ella embarked on a journey of love and partnership that spanned four decades, exemplifying the true meaning of a devoted and enduring marriage.
In the roles that truly defined him, Tino was a loving and devoted father. Although faced with the heartbreaking loss of his son, Jose Paulo Concillo, his unwavering love and support for his surviving son, John Patrick Concillo, knew no bounds. His guidance, dedication, and love were a beacon in his children's lives, shaping them into the remarkable individuals they are today.
Tino had a range of passions that made him truly unique. He was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers, cheering them on with an infectious enthusiasm. He found solace and joy in the melodies of classic rock and jazz, and his home was always filled with the sounds of timeless tunes. Tino's meticulous nature extended to the art of homemaking, as he took great pride in keeping his house pristine and welcoming to all.
But what truly defined Tino was his unwavering dedication to his loved ones. He had an extraordinary capacity for kindness and generosity, always willing to lend a hand without hesitation whenever someone he cared about needed support. His selflessness and caring nature were evident in every interaction, making him a cherished friend and confidant to many.
Above all else, Tino found his greatest joy in spending quality time with his family and closest friends. Whether gathered around the dinner table eating a great meal, sharing stories of laughter, or simply enjoying each other's company, those precious moments were the true treasures of his life.
On September 25 2023, we bid farewell to a remarkable man whose presence graced our lives in immeasurable ways. Tino’s legacy of love, knowledge, and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.
