Vielmina C. Fernandes

Vielmina C. Fernandes, 98 years of age, passed away on May 14, 2015 in Ontario. California. She was born on January 7, 1917 in Terceira, Azores, Portugal. Vielmina has been an Ontario resident for the past 50 years and a previous Cypress resident. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband and son, Joseph A. Fernandes and George Fernandes. She had the joy of raising 3 children. Vielmina was a devoted parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Left to cherish her memory are her 3 loving children; Diana Fernandes Lisi, Rosemary LaCour and Thomas Fernandes. She is also survived by her beloved 5 grandchildren; Melia LaCour, Amy LaCour, Aaron Lisi, Joseph Lisi and Gwyneth Fernandes. A Visitation will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Ontario. Following the rosary a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with Internment to follow at Bellevue Memorial Park in Ontario.
