Wallis Dean Wynn

Wally was born in Hastings, NE on June 14, 1940. After graduating from Hastings High School in 1958, Wally immediately entered the Air Force. While in the Air Force Wally was a radio communications operator. His career took him all over the world and eventually he served his last assignment at a base in northern California.

After retiring from the Air Force, Wally moved to Southern California. He and his wife of 27 yrs, Alyce, enjoyed their time working a Bassett Hound Rescue and both served in the U.S. Coast Guard auxiliary for over 20 years. Both organizations were a passion for Wally.

Wally is survived by his wife Alyce, son Alan, daughter Suzanne, step son Robert and step daughter s Becky and Cheryl, and each of their husbands and wives. He is also survived by a brother Ron and his wife, and his sister Sharon. Wally has 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 4 nephews. He is preceded in death by his eldest daughter Rhonda and 2 infant grandchildren.

A burial at sea will be conducted by his friends in the Coast Guard auxiliary on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 10:00 am off the coast of Huntington Beach, California. Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria del angel Pierce Brothers Griffith, Chino, CA.
