Audice Lee Pettitt

Audice Lee Pettitt was born on February 19, 1934 to Orval and Ola Pettitt in Havana Arkansas. He was the first of 5 children. He passed away peacefully on January 7th, 2019 at his home. He was 84 years young. He is preceded in death by his lovely wife, Wanda and his parents, Orval and Ola Pettitt. He is survived by his two sons, Ricky Pettitt (Leanna), Kevin Pettitt (Renee). His grandchildren, Timothy Pettitt-Reynolds (Steven), Kristy Pettitt, Brandon Pettitt (Joseph), Brittney Pettitt and Ashley Pettitt. His great grandchildren, Lilly, Logan, Noah, Ava, Maryssa, Serenity, Cali and McKenzie. His brothers and sisters, Helen Pettitt-Scroggins (Wayne), Harold Pettitt (Valerie), Leon Pettitt (Lorraine) and Joy Pettitt-Spears (Gene). His numerous Aunts and Uncles, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

He married the love of his life on July 22, 1955, Wanda Lee Cates; they were married for 58 years until she passed away on May 10, 2013. He was drafted into the Army on December 13th, 1957. While in the Army he was at stationed Fort Hood Texas. He was a Marksman on the Rifle and received a Good Conduct Medal. On December 6th, 1962, he was honorably discharged from the Army. After the Army, they decided to move to California where his parents lived and went to work for his dad on the family farm. After his dad retired, Audi took over the farm. When the boys got older they helped their dad and that's when Pettitt farms was born.They all worked together until 1995 when he had to slow down and went to work for Walmart for 15 years until he retired in 2015. He will be greatly missed. We will be honoring our dad on January 17, with a viewing at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel located at 140 S. 6th St., Chowchilla, California from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and a Graveside service on the 18th at 10 a.m. at the Chowchilla District Cemetery, Chowchilla, California. Following with a celebration of life at the Little Theater located at the Chowchilla Fairgrounds.

To the family,
I would like to send my warm Christian Love and Condolences I also would like to share with you a comforting PROMISE that is found in God’s word the Bible. At (John 5v28,29) Jesus says that there will be a RESURRECTION! And by means of this resurrection our Dear Loved Ones have the hope of being restored to the days of their Youthful VIGOR! (Job 33v25) They will be able to enjoy this Earth FOREVER in the Abundance Of PEACE! (Psalms 37v11,29) A truly encouraging PROMISE that will soon take place!
