Billie Jean had homes in Madera, CA and in Bouse, AZ, dividing her time throughout the years in each of them. She enjoyed volunteering her time teaching, line dancing and doing crafts. However, being around a lot of people, spending time with her family and friends brought her joy and happiness. She always had a smile on her face, greeting everyone she came into contact with a hug. Billie Jean’s original home church was on the corner of 6th and Colusa Ave, Chowchilla, CA. This is the church she raised her children in and attended for many years. That church is now called the Chowchilla New Life Apostolic Church and has been the home church for her and Billie Collett for the last 15+ years. Anytime there was a dinner or function to be held Billie Jean always made sure that she contributed one way or another, even when she wasn’t able to be there.
Billie Jean was preceded in death by her first husband, Osker Eavy Tripp; her son, Eavy Dean; her parents and 2 sisters, Ginger Grimes and Barbara Kjostad.
