Billy David Beck

Billy David Beck, age 76, of Chowchilla, California passed away on Saturday May 15, 2021. David was born June 25, 1944, in San Jose, CA to Clifton and Geneva “Ruth” Beck, 3rd of 7 children.
As a young boy he had fond memories of singing in church with his dad which gave him a love for singing and playing guitar that he continued throughout his life enjoying many karaoke nights.
After trying many different trades, he found his niche for auto body eventually owning and operating Becks Body Shop for many years.
David enjoyed camping with friends near Greys Mtn; bowling; sneaking off to go fishing; playing years of fast pitch softball, sometimes pitching several games in 1 day; golfing, achieving a hole in 1 on #11 at Pheasant Run Golf course; motorcycle riding; mowing his lawn; playing guitar; karaoke; helping others, but most of all spending time with his sons Mike and Stephen, daughter-in-law Beth and his grandchildren.
David was full of life and loved all he knew.
Billy “David” is survived by his beloved wife, Jody Beck; sons Michael Beck, Stephen Beck (Beth); sisters Barbara Gray, Wilma White, Carol Taylor; brother Tim Beck; grandchildren, Boe Beck, Brannon Beck, Samantha Bermudez (Alex), Blake Beck, Ethan Beck, Jacob Beck; 2 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Billy “David” Beck was preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Geneva “Ruth” Beck; brother Jim Beck and sister Jan Hogan.
There will be a celebration of life on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm at Pheasant Run Golf Course, 19 Clubhouse Drive, Chowchilla, California.

He was the best Uncle ever. David's birthday and mine are on the same day. My Grandma would make us chicken and rice every year. He always made you feel special and loved. Rest in peace Uncle David.
