Carl Kent Whatley

Carl Kent Whatley was born on January 2, 1944 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Doc and Sadie Whatley. He had a serious fall on November 3, 2019 in which he never recovered. Carl went to Heaven on December 10, 2019 in Chowchilla, California.

Carl married Kathleen Lee on June 14, 1964 and they had three children. He had a career with PG&E for 33 years and an additional 18 years as a pipeline inspector. Carl was an avid hunter traveling to Colorado every year as well as other states.

He is survived by his wife Kathy of 55 years, sons Carl Kent Whatley, Jr (Sandra), Jason Daniel Whatley (Jamie), daughter Kimberly Marie Urbani (Mark), 3 precious grandchildren Jackson Daniel Whatley, Jace Doc Whatley, Jhett Dallas Whatley, eight brothers Ben Whatley, Harvey Whatley, Cleve Whatley, Frank Whatley, Jimmy Whatley, Leland Whatley, Jeff Whatley, Randy Whatley, five sisters Janice Whatley-Quinn, Jeanette Hale, Annette Essman, Rene Whatley-Roan, and Sherrie Cockrum.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents Doc and Sadie Whatley, brother Kenneth Whatley, sisters Maxine Davis, Barbara Tarabini, and Riki Parliman.
