My husband Jeff Deniz grew up as part of the extended family. I met Ms. Flossie about 20yrs ago and instantly became her friend and sister. She used to come by our shop to visit occasionally and no matter how busy, you always made time to sit and enjoy talking with her.
One Saturday night my uncle ,Floyd (she loved to embarrass him) Danny Myers (RIP), Ms. Flossie and I went fishing to the game reserve. Sadly for Danny, he caught the first fish and threw it back in. ... Honestly she only told him she was gonna throw him in after it, but as she stood with her hands on her hips and the look, he jumped from his chair and fell in too... Perhaps he decided he wanted to keep it after all... lol.. It sure didn't take long until she had caught more than all of us combined., Such a fun and comical friend to have. I will truly miss you friend. My prayers go out to the family. All though she will be truly missed by all that knew her, she no longer suffers and knowing her, she wouldn't want us to morn her loss but to treasure her memories. I'm sure she's smiling down on us, setting on a beautiful rivers edge with fishing pole in hand, humming gods grace and glory.. Love you Ms. Flossie
