Jesus was born on January 31, 1951 to his parents Aurelio Rodriguez and Maria Cuevas. He was born and raised in Chavinda Michoacan, Mexico and later moved to the United States in 1974 in search of a better life for him and his growing family.
Jesus dedicated himself to his family and spent many years working in the agriculture and dairy industry in the Central Valley of California.
He was a devoted husband to his wife Bertha Rodriguez Mendoza and a proud father to his 9 children; Monica, Jesus, Miguel, Laura, Fernando, Jose "Wicho", Ricardo, Araceli, and Hernan. The famiy established roots in Chowchilla, California. Jesus was also a loving grandfather to his 17 grandchildren and cherished being a great grandfather to his 3, soon to be 5 great grandchildren.
Jesus will be remembered for his ability to enjoy life, his love for family, and his yearning to make those around him laugh and smile.
He would always remind his family to not take life to seriously and truly live your life to the fullest. Jesus also enjoyed the outdoors and was one of the greatest fishermen.
Jesus is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Teresa.
He is survived by his wife Bertha, his children, 2 sisters, 4 brothers, 17 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
A Rosary Service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 1:30 at St. Columba Catholic Church 213 Orange Aveune, Chowchilla, California. A Mass Service will follow.
The family will be taking Jesus back home to Mexico to be laid to rest.
