Jimmy was loved by his family and his church family. He was very much a part of his community, you could find him volunteering his time helping with the local food pantry. Jimmy had a heart for the lost and homeless who he shared the gospel with when ever he could.
Jimmy will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 27 years, Angela Polk; his sons Jimmy Ray Polk III, Tyrone Polk, brother Marcus Turner, sister Christina Turner, 3 grandchildren whom he loved very much, nieces Cynthia Polk, and Desiray Polk, 1 great niece, and 1 great nephew.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Polk and his mother Joann Turner, and his brother Clifton Polk.
