Kay was born on May 18, 1943, in Madera, California and after a brief illness she passed away in her sleep on May 3, 2025, in Chico, California.
Kay grew up in Chowchilla, California and went through the school system. After graduating high school, she married, traveled and worked serving the Lord, meeting people at the different churches. All the time she was raising two children.
She always loved the big family gatherings. Kay was always a sweet and caring person to all.
Later in life, she traveled with her daughter to Hawaii and a few other islands. They also traveled to Chicago twice to see the White Sox play.
Kay is preceded in death by her son Kevin James Reynolds, her father Laney Sanders, mother Bertha Sanders, and her siblings Brady, Richard, Donald, David, Sylvia, and Wanda.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years Tom Alujevice of Chico, California, her daughter Velonda Kay Behnamnia and Son In Law Mike, four grandchildren, seven nieces, two nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
Kay will always be in our hearts and greatly missed.
A Funeral Service for Kay will be held Friday, May 23, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel, 140 South 6th Street, Chowchilla, California.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM at the Chowchilla District Cemetery, 23359 Rd 14 1/2, Chowchilla, California.
