Mattie was born on June 9, 1930, to her mother, Tera and her father, Ira Stover. Mattie was energetic in everything she did; after high school, she received her license in Cosmetology. At the age of 21, she married Willard (Pat) Patrick, and they spent the next 73 years happily married embarking on a long and beautiful life together.
Mattie spent many years working as a hairdresser and stylist and eventually running her own business while making countless lifelong friends, all the while raising four children with Willard and traveling to where he was stationed both in the US and abroad. Upon retiring, she and Willard spent time traveling with family and friends.
Mattie was an active and caring woman who spent most of her life helping and thinking about others. She always surrounded herself with her friends and family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved.
She is survived by her husband Willard, her children, Jim Patrick and wife Margie, Dale Patrick, Janice Parsons and husband Joe, Don Patrick and wife Michele, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
There will not be a funeral service held at this time for Mattie, but please feel free to donate to your favorite charity in her name.
