Minerva Burditt- White known to some as Aunt, Momma, Grandma, but known best as "Granny". She loved bowling, gardening, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and Bob Barker from the Price is Right! She made the best beans, fried potatoes and corn bread you've ever had! we will never forget her chocolate gravy.
Granny was our family's historian, she never forgot birthdays or anniversaries. She will be a hard act to follow.
Minerva was born in Non, Oklahoma to her parents John and Josie Burditt, where she lived until 1948 when she moved to California. In 1970 she moved to Colorado, until she return back to California in 1983 and remained.
Minerva is survived by her daughters Linda Kay Lausten, Shirley Ann Conner and her son Oliver Sterling White.
Minerva was preceded in death by her beloved husband Oliver White, her daughter Judy Smith, father John Burditt and her mother Josie Burditt (Timmons); her brothers Charles, Doc, Sam "Floyd" Burditt, her sisters Francis Ernest, Mary Warren, Savana Farmer, Tennie Caldwell, Johnnie Sorensen and Nola.
She also leaves behind 7 grand children, 11 great grandchildren, and 19 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a lot of very close friends and family.
Granny you are loved and will be sorely missed by all.
A visitation service for Ms. Minerva White will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel, 140 South 6th Street, Chowchilla, CA 93610. Following the visitation service will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Chowchilla District Cemetery, 23359 Road 14 1/2, Chowchilla, CA 93610.
