Neva Ruth Brown

She married Chester Thomas Brown at the age of 15 and together they had 2 sons, Thomas Chester and Donald Lee. They lived in Los Gatos, CA and Campbell, CA before moving and settling in Chowchilla, CA. There she bought her first home and was so happy because it was next door to her son and daughter-in-law. She loved her home of 22 years.

She worked for around 35 years at US Products and Drew Cannery.

Neva loved all her accomplishments such as going to church; traveling with her sister, Lucy, daughter-in-law, Peggy and friend, Mary Coleman and wearing all kinds of pretty clothes and hats.

Neva was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Chester Brown; brothers, Elmer and Roy Tennis; sister, Lucy Turner; grandchildren, Jody and Neva Brown.

She leaves behind her sons; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and some great great grandchildren.

She will miss her calls from niece, Pauline Mull who checked on her daily. We will all miss her but most of all her dog, Sparkie will miss her the most.

A visitation will be held at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel, 140 S. 6th St., Chowchilla, CA 93610 on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 2 – 5pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 10am with Interment to follow at 3pm at Los Gatos Cemetery, 2255 Los Gatos Almaden Rd., San Jose, CA 95124.
