A los 15 años, Olga se casó con su amado esposo y mejor amigo, Eligio, y compartieron una vida juntos durante casi 50 años. Juntos construyeron una familia basada en la lealtad, la fe y el cariño mutuo. Fue la querida madre de sus hijos Dellanira, Nancy, Joel, Daniela, Ruby, Saúl y Rigina. También fue madre de muchos primos, sobrinas y sobrinos; todos la llamaban Mamá Lee. Su amor perduró a través de 19 nietos, 12 bisnietos y 2 bisnietos en camino.
Con una presencia bondadosa en la vida cotidiana, Olga encontraba alegría en cuidar de los demás, especialmente cocinando para familiares y amigos, y en la tradición de las noches de los viernes que pasaba con sus hijos y nietos para cenar y compartir tiempo juntos. En los momentos más sencillos, demostraba la generosidad de anteponer a los demás, ofreciendo consuelo, apoyo y calidez. Una lata fría de Coca-Cola era su bebida favorita, y su sonrisa, tan presente, permanece como un recuerdo imborrable para quienes la conocieron.
El legado de Olga es de amor fiel y servicio entregado. Se comportó con disciplina amable y una guía atenta hacia sus hijos y nietos, buscando siempre lo mejor para ellos. Su compasión era discreta pero constante; se manifestaba en la forma en que cuidaba de todos, en la forma en que hacía espacio para la familia y en la forma en que ayudaba a los demás a sentirse vistos y apoyados.
A Olga le sobreviven su amado esposo y mejor amigo de 49 años, Eligio Rojas Banuelos; sus hijos Dellanira, Nancy, Joel, Daniela, Ruby, Saúl y Rigina; Sus padres, Rafael y Benita Sánchez; su hermano Rafael Sánchez; y sus hermanas Elodia, Hermila, Carmen, Lorena, Deyanira y Yesenia Sánchez.
Le precedió en la muerte su hermana Delia Sánchez.
Olga será recordada por el amor que compartió, con profundo respeto y eterna gratitud por una vida marcada por una devoción constante, una fortaleza serena y un cuidado discreto y compasivo que trascendió su hogar.
El velorio y el rosario se llevarán a cabo el jueves 2 de julio de 2026 a las 5:00 p.m., con el rosario a partir de las 6:00 p.m., en la Capilla Palm Memorial Worden, ubicada en 140 South 6th Street, Chowchilla, California.
La misa se celebrará el viernes 3 de julio de 2026 a las 10:00 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica St. Columba, ubicada en 213 Orange Avenue, Chowchilla, California.
Tras la misa, se celebrará un servicio religioso junto a la tumba en el cementerio del distrito de Chowchilla, ubicado en 23359 Road 14 1/2, Chowchilla, California.

Olga Rojas Sanchez, age 65, was born on September 14, 1960, in Zacatecas, Mexico, and passed away on June 22, 2026. Olga resided in Los Banos, California.
At the age of 15, Olga married her beloved husband and best friend Eligio and shared a life together for almost 50 years. Together they built a family grounded in loyalty, faith, and thoughtful attention to one another. She was the cherished mother to her children Dellanira, Nancy, Joel, Daniela, Ruby, Saul, and Rigina. She was also a mom to many cousins, nieces, and nephews, everyone called her Mama Lee. Her love continued through 19 grandchildren, 12
great-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren on the way.
A kind-hearted presence in everyday life, Olga found joy in caring for others, especially through cooking for family and friends, and in the tradition of Friday nights spent with her children and grandchildren for dinner and time together. In the simplest moments, she showed the selfless habit of putting others first, offering comfort, steadiness, and warmth. A cold can of Coke was
her favorite drink, and her smile, so often present remains a lasting memory for those who knew her.
Olga’s legacy is one of faithful love and devoted service. She carried herself with gentle discipline and thoughtful guidance toward her children and grandchildren, always seeking what
was best for them. Her compassion was not loud, but constant; expressed in the way she took care of everyone, in the way she made room for family, and in the way she helped others feel
seen and supported.
Olga is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 49 years, Eligio Rojas Banuelos; her children Dellanira, Nancy, Joel, Daniela, Ruby, Saul, and Rigina; her parents, Rafael and Benita Sanchez. Her brother Rafael Sanchez, and her sisters Elodia, Hermila, Carmen, Lorena, Deyanira, and Yesenia Sanchez.
She is preceded in death by her sister Delia Sanchez.
Olga will be remembered for her love she shared, with deep respect and enduring gratitude for a life marked by steady devotion, gentle strength, and a quiet, compassionate care that reached far beyond her immediate home.
A Visitation and Rosary Service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. with Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel, 140 South 6th Street, Chowchilla,
California.
Mass Service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., St. Columba Catholic Church, 213 Orange Avenue, Chowchilla, California.
Graveside Service to follow Mass, Chowchilla District Cemetery, 23359 Road 14 1/2, Chowchilla, California.
