Patricia Ann Ciapponi

Patricia Ciapponi was born on November 10, 1938 and passed away at the age of 79 on June 27, 2018 in Merced, California. She previously lived in Dos Palos, Santa Cruz and Sebastopol, California. Patricia was baptized in the Catholic Church on June 14, 1939. She ran Animal Crackers Day Care and was a 4-H leader and Brownies leader. Patricia loved going camping and fishing with her family, she had a passion for cooking and baking. She made the best spaghetti! She loved kids and animals and enjoyed going to McDonald’s for morning coffee with her friends. She enjoyed the holidays and enjoyed decorating her house for the holidays. Patricia was married to Sam Ciapponi the love of her life on June 17, 1956. Together they had a daughter Cindy and a son Donny. Patricia is preceded in death by her loving husband Samuel Andre Ciapponi, her parents Manuel and Irene Silveria, son Donald “Donny” Ciapponi, brother Manuel Jr. Silveria and sister Catherine Silveria. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia “Cindy” Ciapponi, brother-in-law Fred Ciapponi and his wife Carol, brother Peter Silveria and sister Barbara Sartin. She also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Tyler Dockins, Jennifer Dockins and Megan Ciapponi as well as many nieces and a nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Valley Harvest Church located at 717 Robertson Boulevard Chowchilla, California 93610.
