He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Reatha Johnson and brother, Freddie Johnson.
Richard leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Alison; sons, Richard Bourgerie, Richard (Isabela), Joseph, Adam, Richard Eddie and Matthew Johnson; daughters, Jamey (Miguel Jr.) Castro, Becky, Lisa, Sara and Anna Johnson; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Arthur Johnson; sisters, Carolyn Oler, Olivia Lampkin and Erma Gilbert and many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
A visitation will be held at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel, 140 S. 6th St., Chowchilla, CA 93610 from 4-8pm on Monday, November 24, 2014. Graveside services will be at 2pm on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Chowchilla Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers family request donations be made toward funeral expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of Palm Memorial Worden Chapel.
