Ronald is survived by his wife of 34 years, Patricia "Trisha" Bidwell, sons James Bidwell, son Ronald Bidwell II, daughter Kimberly Bidwell, mother Elizabeth Bidwell, sister Donna Riley, his granddaughters Aubree Mejia, Alisha "Rosie" Bidwell, granddaughter Isabella Mejia, his grandsons Ayden Mejia, and Liam Bidwell.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father Emery Bidwell Jr..
