Midge attended school in Oklahoma and moved to California in 1952.
Midge never meet a stranger he knew and loved many people form many walks of life. It was very rare to see Midge without a smile. He loved his family and spent as much time as he could with them.
He had many hobbies, such as car, racing and roping and riding horses. Midge worked for the Chowchilla School District as a groundskeeper until he retired and moved back to Ralston Oklahoma.
Midge is survived by his life partner, Jackie Heffington of 14 years, which brought him back to Chowchilla California. He also leaves behind his sister Connie Briggs of Chowchilla, a brother-in-law Tim Briggs, his Nephews Jonathan Briggs of Fresno, Lonnie Allen of Chowchilla, Tony Gorden of Ralston, Oklahoma, Zel Conner of Tulsa Oklahoma; and George Conner of Oklahoma. His Nieces Cindy Usher of Illinois; Christie Lucas of Las Vegas; Carolyn Conner of Pawhaska Oklahoma; and Terry Gordon of Ralston Oklahoma.
He also leaves behind his pride and joys; his Granddaughter Kelsey Lockheart of Ralston, Oklahoma, her husband, Chris, Lockheart, and Great Grandson Jamison Lockheart; Grandson Coby Conner of Ralston Oklahoma; Grandson Roy Conner of Indiana and wife Kelsey Conner; and Great Granddaughter Clara Conner.
Midge is preceeded in death by his Father George Frank Conner, Mother Wilma Jean Conner, Son Clinton Conner, Daughter Coleen Conner, Brother George Frank Conner 3rd, and his Sister Caroline Gorden Conner.
Services for Midge will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., at Poteet Funeral Home, 600 Illinoise Street, Pawnee, Oklahoma.
