Thomas Lee Jeffries, age 82, formerly of Chowchilla passed away Friday, January 26, 2024. He was born on June 1, 1941, in Lexington, Oklahoma, the son of the late Grady Thomas Jeffries and Genieve Jeffries.
He graduated from Thomas Downey High School and later enlisted in the Air Force as an air traffic controller, which he served for 25 years.
Tom is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon Lee Jeffries, their 2 children; Ron Allen and Heidi Grabar, and her husband John Grabar, along with their grandchildren; Blake Grabar, Chandler Grabar, Owen Grabar, and Haley Grabar.
Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping and most of all, riding his motorcycle. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
A visitation service will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 from 9:00 - 1:00 p.m. at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel, 140 South 6th Street, Chowchilla, California 93610.
Graveside service will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Pavilion at the Chowchilla District Cemetery, 23359 Road 14 1/2, Chowchilla, California 93610.
