Virginia Catherine Lasiter was born in Richmond, CA on October 1, 1918 to Bartelomeo and Nicolina Olivero and passed away on December 24, 2014 at the age of 96. She was a 95 year resident of Chowchilla, CA.
In 1940, she married Nolan B. Lasiter. They were married for 59 years.
She was a dedicated member of St. Columba Catholic Church and the Altar Society.
She enjoyed serving others, especially her family.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan B. Lasiter; siblings, Andy and Tony Olivero, Jenni Gioletti Sousa and Emma Gioletti and granddaughter, Julie Marie Cox.
She is survived by 3 children, Shirley (Hugh) Cox of Fresno, Linda (Bob) Samuelson of Merced and Kenneth (Carolyn) Lasiter of Chowchilla; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Recitation of Rosary was held Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 9:30am with Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. Columba Catholic Church, 213 Orange Ave., Chowchilla, CA. Followed with interment at Chowchilla Cemetery.
