Alice Lee
March 1, 1945 – January 28, 2020
Alice Lee passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, January 8, under the care of Starlight Hospice in Irvine, California. She is survived by her daughter, Linda, and her three grandchildren.
Alice arrived in America at age 23, where she quickly learned the language and succeeded as an interpreter and tutor until meeting her husband, Charles Lee, through work. She devoted her next 15 years to raising her daughter and keeping a beautiful home and garden for her family. In 2013, Linda and Alice launched a language website for adults, helping thousands of other immigrants learn to confidently communicate in English. Alice loved to travel across the U.S. and frequently went back home to see family. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion and love to her family and community.
