Avery was a senior at Riverton High School, where she received high marks in all her classes. Avery’s true passion, however, was gymnastics, a sport she dedicated herself to from an early age. A talented gymnast, she competed at the state level, consistently earning top scores for her routines. Her precision, strength, and grace on the balance beam and floor exercise were particularly noted, and she had dreams of competing at the collegiate level. Avery’s hard work, discipline, and commitment to gymnastics were an inspiration to her teammates, and she was often described as a positive force who lifted everyone around her with her encouragement and sportsmanship.
Avery's interests extended far beyond gymnastics. She had a deep love for nature, often spending time tending to her plants, nurturing them with the same care and attention she gave to everything else in her life. Her green thumb was a source of pride, and her room was filled with vibrant foliage that brightened her days.
In addition to her passion for plants, Avery had a keen interest in photography. She loved capturing the beauty of the world around her, whether it was a stunning sunset, a candid moment with friends, or the smallest details of everyday life. Her photos were a reflection of her creative spirit, and she found joy in preserving memories through her lens.
Avery also had an adventurous soul. She loved to travel and explore new places, whether it was a weekend getaway or a family vacation. Her sense of wonder and curiosity took her to many beautiful destinations, where she embraced new experiences and created lasting memories with those she loved.
Above all, Avery treasured her friendships. She was always the first to make plans, to offer a listening ear, or to lend a helping hand. Hanging out with her friends brought her immense joy, and her infectious laughter could light up any room. Avery had a unique way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and loved, and her friends will forever remember her as the heart and soul of every gathering.
Avery's vibrant and infectious smile will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving parents, John and Amber Moore, and her younger sister, Sydney. Avery's loss leaves a hole in the hearts of her family and a wide circle of friends, who will forever cherish the memories of her warmth, laughter, and spirit.
A memorial service will be held at Riverton High School's gymnasium on January 20, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. CST.
