

Brenda was born on May 16, 1958, in Pensacola, Florida, to Paul and Isabel (Webber) Vail.
Brenda was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who welcomed everyone into her heart. She treated her children’s friends as if they were her own, always offering love, laughter, and a place where people felt accepted. She had a deep love for Willie Nelson and proudly believed that “if it ain’t country, it ain’t cool.”
Brenda touched the lives of many throughout her lifetime. She was known for her fun-loving spirit, her honesty, and her strong opinions— which she never hesitated to share. Though she was small in stature, her personality was anything but. As she often said, "Dynamite comes in small packages."
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Carraway, brother Tom and many cherished relatives and friends.
Brenda is survived by her children, Sage Carraway (James Johnson), Christopher Carraway, and Shane Carraway; her beloved grandchildren, Isobel Grace Johnson, Annalee Catherine Johnson, Shane Franklin Thomas Carraway Jr., and Elizabeth Susan Kay Foit; her sisters, Paula Kiser an Cindy Lowhorn; and many extended family members and friends who will forever carry he memory in their hearts.
Cremation was entrusted to Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger Funeral Home.
