Christine "Tina" Johnson

Tina was born on June 22, 1949 in Mt. Sterling, Ohio to late Fred and Patricia (Steele) McClaskie. She was a care giver for many years until her retirement with Choices in London, Ohio. Tina loved her family, especially her great-grandkids. They would paint their nails together, play dolls and play dress up. She was proud of each of them and excited for the newest addition to the family. Tina loved gardening with lilacs and baby breaths as her favorites. She was known as “The Cat Lady”, and she loved them as her own children. She loved watching YouTube, especially keeping up with the Royal Family. Tina loved the best free show on earth, the Circleville Pumpkin Show.

In addition to her parents, Tina is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Johnson; and her daughter, Nicole Roseberry.

Tina is survived by her daughter, DeeDee (David) Watkins; her grandchildren, Krystyna (Hunter Smallwood) Roseberry, Kenneth Roseberry, Brenda (Josh Sheppard) Burgett, and Carlos Burgett; her great-grandchildren, Nathan, Ethan, Addison, Avah, Manny, Beatrice, Ellie, Ashton, Gauge and baby girl coming soon; her brother, Steve McClaskie; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger, 151 E. Main St, Circleville. A Funeral will follow at 12:30pm. Christine will be laid to rest next to her parents at Range Township Cemetery.
