James Ezra Conrad Jr.

Most weekends you could find Jim at his happy place (his camper) sitting by a warm fire or working on his campsite. He loved smoking meat and competing with his friend for the best meals. Jim was loved by all who knew him. He was always willing to help everyone. He was proud and loved being dad, grandpa, and great grandpa.

He was preceded in death by his parents James & Shirley (Adkins) Conrad & stepmother JoAnn (Slightham) Conrad as well as brother David Allen & stepsister Julie Bentz.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 41 years Monica Lisa (Cotton) Conrad & 3 children, Brandy Simon, James Ezra (Angela) Conrad III and Patricia (Ron) Drake. His 5 grandchildren, Michael James (AJ) Conrad, David Joseph Lefever, Nickalus Jordan (Alyssa) Conrad, Bradley Robert Drake and Autumn Marie Conrad. His 4 great grandchildren, Stella, Rosilyn, Jaxon and Christopher. Also loved and missed by his sister Evelyn Conrad, brother Johnny and stepsister Joanna Rager and Joy Davis; and stepbrother Little John Davis; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be missed by our dearest friends Brock, Christine and Caleb Turner, and so many more friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 4 pm until 7 pm at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger, 151 E. Main St, Circleville, OH 43113. The family is asking in lieu of flowers, please donate to the funeral expenses or to the American Heart Association in Jims’ name.
