Larry was born on May 29, 1951 at Stephville, Newfoundland, Canada to the late Lawrence and Kathleen (Hoddinott) Boltenhouse. He graduated from Circleville High School. After graduation, he enlisted with the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam War, and he earned the Purple Heart metal. He was proud to serve his country, and he was a member of the AM Vets Post 2256. Larry worked and retired from Reynolds Aluminum. He was an avid collector and finding antiques, especially at estate sales and auctions. He loved music and collecting Vinyl records.
In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by son, Larry Boltenhouse, Jr, and his sister, Cathy.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Mike Percell) Bailey; his grandchildren, Tyler and Isaiah Bailey; his brother, Jerry Boltenhouse; and many other relatives and friends.
Cremation was entrusted to Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger.
