

She was born September 25, 1947 in Fort Wayne, IN to Paul Elinger and Ruth (Grimm) Elinger Janes. She was preceded in death by her birth parents; brother, James Janes; sister, Carolyn James; adopted father, Claude A. Janes; and longtime companion, Richard Perry. She is survived by son, Dallas Elswick of Marietta, Ohio; daughters, Angela Hasley of Marietta and Leslie Cisler of Circleville, OH; brother, Claude Janes of Chesterhill, OH; cousins, Christine Kittredge of Columbus, OH, Marilyn Paulus of Florida, and Ralph (Bub) Paulus of Marietta; grandchildren, Ashley, Patton and Justin Hasley; three great grandchildren; and friends: Amber, Tim, Theresa, and Lisa.
Mary Ann was President of MAJ, Inc, a bridge welding company for 25 years. After that she operated Buckeye Dog Hauling transporting hunting dogs all over the lower 49 states and Canada. She was a member of Circleville Methodist Church. She loved her championship dogs, enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with friends. She was a life member of the NRA and Ohio Gun Collectors. Interment will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio. In lieu of flowers in her honor, please donate to: Pickaway County Dog Shelter, 21253 Ringgold Southern Rd, Circleville, OH 43113.
