Pamela "Pam" Sprouse

Pam grew up in Upper Arlington, Ohio, and graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1980. She went on to graduate from Bowling Green University in 1982, carrying forward a steady determination and work ethic that would remain a hallmark throughout her life.

For 44 years, Pam dedicated herself to her career with Batelle Memorial Institute. During the last 15 years of her career, she worked as a Project Manager for Batelle in Richmond, Kentucky—an enduring reflection of her devotion, loyalty, and hard-working spirit, and of the quiet reliability on which colleagues and friends could depend.

Pam found deep enjoyment in traveling and discovering beauty in the world around her. Her adventurous spirit took her to Spain, Italy, and France, and her gentle appreciation for creativity was evident in her love of art shows and craft shows, as well as in the care with which she collected handmade items. In these simple, meaningful pursuits, many saw the kindness and warmth that made Pam so beloved.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Robert M. and Patricia J. Sprouse, and her nephew, Daniel James Sprouse. She is survived by her brothers, Robert J. (Trisha Clifford-Sprouse) and James K. (Josie); her sisters, Cynthia L. (Frank) Ross and Teri Sprouse; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pam will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger Circleville, 151 E. Main Street, Circleville, OH 43113, US, on August 21, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A Memorial Service will follow at the same location on August 21, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Inurnment will take place at Hitler Ludwig Cemetery, Circleville, OH

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fair Hope Hospice of Fairfield County, Ohio; the American Cancer Society; or Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital.
