

Paul was born on November 25, 1938 in Louisa, Kentucky to the late Hoadley and Nina (Savage) Salyers. He worked and retired from Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local Union 189. He was a 50 plus year member of the Elks, Lodge No. 77. He was also a member of the International Order of Odd Fellows, Columbia Lodge #32.
Paul was a loving dad, grandpa, great-grandpa and uncle. He was a hard working individual who was a perfectionist, but at the end of the day, he was a humble and down to earth guy. Paul took any chance he could to be a mentor to anyone. He loved classic cars, especially Corvettes, Buicks and Packards. Paul was very proud of his home known as the Red Brick Manor. He loved spending the holidays with family and friends. Family meant everything to him.
In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Alicia Salyers; his siblings, Barbara Salyers Tomlinson and Ralph Salyers; and nephews, Charles Tomlinson and Matt Salyers.
Paul is survived by his children, Paul (Liz) Salyers, Jr, Tommy Salyers, Penny (Tony) Wilson, Tracey (Cheryl) Salyers and Madison Salyers; his grandchildren, Lisa, Summer, and Tommy; his great-children, Skylar, Austin, LeBron, Renee, Angelica and Joey; his nephews, Joe Tomlinson, Ralph Salyers Jr, and Bart Salyers; his special friends, Kim Robinson and Jani Tomlinson and many relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger, 151 E. Main St, Circleville, Ohio with the International Order of Odd Fellows presenting at 7:30pm. A Funeral will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 10:00am. Paul will be laid to rest at a graveside service at Myrtle Chapel Cemetery in Louisa, Kentucky at 2:00pm.
