He is survived by sons Kirk (Valerie) Knecht and Brad Knecht, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 3 nephews Bob, Jim and Steve Knecht. He is pre-deceased by parents, wife Dorothy Huston Knecht (Pat), daughter-in-law Linda, grandson Kyle Knecht, sister Keitha Prather and brother Larry Knecht.
Family and friends may gather at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger Funeral Home on August 27, 2024 at 11am for a procession to Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville, where the graveside service will occur. In lieu of flowers, suggested donations to Heartland Hospice.
