

She was born August 24, 1937, in West Jefferson, Ohio, to Terry and Marietta (Pendleton) Bell. She was a graduate of Marysville High School and enjoyed attending her elementary-school reunions in Watkins, Ohio.
Sally’s primary career was as a mother and grandmother, serving as a volunteer room mother for approximately 25 years for her four children and the three grandsons she raised. She always showed up for her family, attending decades of school programs, sporting events, music concerts, 4-H and FFA events. Her nurturing spirit and quiet kindness touched many hearts during her lifetime.
In addition to raising her family, Sally also worked for the Pickaway Senior Center for more than 20 years after working on a dairy farm and as a DHIA milk tester.
She was a dedicated participant in the exercise classes at the Senior Center, an avid reader and a 54-year member of the Williamsport United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed taking trips with friends, including visits to the Badlands, New York City and Branson. She was previously active in the Farm Bureau, Child Conservation League and a library volunteer.
Sally is survived by her daughter Michelle (John) Callahan of Stoutsville; son Micah “Mick” (Sue) Stevens of Crozet, Virginia; grandsons Jack, Terry (Elizabeth) and Ozzy (Danielle) Stevens, Mac Callahan; granddaughters Nykia Bontranger, Jessica Callahan and Kirsten Stevens; great-grandchildren Monica, Bryan, Aiden, Zakk, Bryant, Karah, Alex and Caroline; great-great grandchildren Ella and Takarah and two more on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons Terry and Brian Stevens; brothers Lowell, Ronnie and Gary Bell; great-granddaughter Jadelyn Cathel; and niece Judy Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to the Pickaway Senior Center, 2105 Chickasaw Drive, Circleville, OH 43113; or Williamsport UM Church, 218 N. Main Street, Williamsport, OH 43164; or the charity of your choice.
