Born on February 22, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio, to Larry and Rosetta (Hawkins) Smith, Tina lived a life defined by strength, ambition, and a generous heart. For many years, she applied her sharp mind to her career as an accountant, but her true passion lay in her community. Tina was a tireless advocate for those in need, always extending a helping hand to the less fortunate and making a tangible difference in the lives of many.
To those who knew her best, Tina was a force of nature—beautifully stubborn, fiercely independent, and wonderfully spirited. Her smile had a way of lighting up even the darkest rooms, and her infectious laugh was a gift that will be deeply missed by everyone fortunate enough to hear it.
Tina has been reunited in peace with her beloved husband, David Clements; her son, Jeremiah Cox; her mother, Rosetta Smith; and her sister, Terry Chapman.
Her legacy of love and resilience lives on through her family. She is survived by her son, Levi Cox; her two daughters-in-laws Caitlin Carle and Kathy Young; and her cherished grandchildren: Elisabeth, Jenna, Jordan, Ocean, Christopher, and Allie. Tina also leaves behind a wide circle of dear friends whom she loved like family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Tina’s vibrant spirit. In the meantime, her family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
