Betty Pennington

Betty was born March 26, 1927 at Teaberry, KY to Will and Martha (Howell) Hall. She married Everett Pennington June 26, 1947 at Pikeville, KY. He preceded her in death September 8, 1995.

Betty was a retired cook at Senior Nutrition at Fairfield, member of Providence General Baptist Church and the Johnsonville Ruritanetts for many years.

Betty is survived by three daughters Peggy (Danny) Johnson and Barbara (Leon) Johnson both of Keenes, IL and Arlene (Fred) Osborn of Johnsonville, IL; two sons Bill (Lois) Pennington of Johnsonville, IL and Gary (Kim) Pennington of Cisne, IL; one daughter-in-law Angela Pennington of Xenia, IL and one brother Edgle (Ann) Hall of Ypsilanti, MI. Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren also survive.

Preceding her in death were her husband Everett, two sons Russel and Ronnie, one grandson Rick, one brother Greenberry, four sisters Margaret, Draxie, Pauline and Maxine, and her parents.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 12 noon on Friday, June 12th at Hosselton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cisne Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10AM until the time of service on Friday.

Memorials may be given to Providence Baptist Church and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
