Billy Russell

Bill was born July 8, 1944 at Paducah, Kentucky to William E. and Jeanetta (Meritt) Russell. He married Donna Smith on December 31, 1964 at Fairfield, Illinois.

Bill and Donna ran Davis Quality gas station in Fairfield for a number of years. Bill was also an over the road truck driver.

Bill is survived by his wife, Donna; Three sons, Bill C. Russell of Olney, Illinois, Terry J. (Kaye) Russell and Stoney B. Russell of Fairfield, Illinois. One daughter, Annetta M. (Curtis) Venable of Clay City, Illinois. Four grandchildren, Dillon and Austin Russell, C. Gage Venable, and Olivia M. Russell.

Preceding him in death were his parents and several aunts and uncles.

A graveside memorial service will held Saturday, August 5, 2017, at 9:00 am at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department.
