Charlene Carter Hendricks Berry

Charlene was born June 19, 1931 at Mt. Erie, IL to Charles and Lela O. (Marvel) Hendricks. She first married Onis E. Carter June 28, 1946 at Fairfield, IL and he preceded her in death January 6, 1998. She later married Bill Berry October 26, 2001 and he preceded her in death April 15, 2004. She was a homemaker.

Charlene is survived by five daughters Joni Vidonic (& her husband David) of Tucson, AZ; Charlotte Bopp and Cora Carter both of Phoenix, AZ; Lela Meager (& her husband Norman) of Flora, IL and Kathy Glover (& her husband Ray Dean) of Mt. Erie, IL; 2 sons Malcolm Carter (& his wife Kathy) of Gilbert, AZ and Carroll Carter (& his wife Jill) of Farmington, NM; one step daughter – Diane Chapman (& her husband James) of Mt. Erie, IL; five sisters Kitty Eblin (& her husband Gene) of Tuscola, IL; Mary Ann Atwood Griggs and Ila Ruth Porterfield both of Mt. Erie, IL; Imogene Floyd (& her husband John) of Griffith, IN and Glenita Reliford of Peoria, IL. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were one daughter Marilyn Ann, one grandson Bradley Mack, two brothers Carroll and Lowell Hendricks, one sister Helen Merrick, husbands Onis and Bill and her parents.

Graveside services for Charlene Carter Berry will be 10:30AM Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 at Brown Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Memorials in memory of Charlene Berry may be given to the donor’s choice and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
