Dale E. Simpson

Dale was born on June 26, 1928 in Bement, Illinois to Nile and Viola (Barnes) Simpson. He married Mary Edith Weaver in Johnsonville on August 23, 1947.

Dale is survived by one son, Donnie (Erica) Simpson of Cisne; daughters, Dianne (David) Allen and Judy Holroyd of Cisne; brother, Carrol Simpson of Howell, MI, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; with one on the way, who will carry on his name.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Edith, his parents, son Ronnie Simpson, sister Evelyn, brothers Harold and Lester, and son-in-law, Blane Holroyd.

Dale worked in the oil fields and retired from Farrar Oil Company in 1994.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dale also loved horses.

Visitation will be held from 1PM to 3PM on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, IL. Funeral service will be at 3PM. The family would like to encourage everyone to dress casually. Burial to be held at the Johnsonville Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Lebanon North CP Church and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
