OBITUARY
Donald E. Riley
March 12, 1930 – December 6, 2012
DONALD E. RILEY, 82 of Cisne, passed away at 4:20AM Thursday, December 06, 2012 at his home.
Donald was born March 12, 1930 at Edinburg, TX to Earl and Bessie (Lane) Riley. He married Rosalie Rogers October 11, 1950 at Cisne, IL.
Donald was a farmer and a member of Round Prairie General Baptist Church at Cisne, IL and the VFW at Fairfield, IL. He was an Army Infantry Veteran from July, 1948 to December, 1951 and his first assignment was in Germany and later in the Korean War.
Donald is survived by his wife Rosalie Riley of Cisne, IL; two daughters Nikki Duke of Flora, IL and Sandra Fair (& her husband Duane) of Fairfield, IL; two sisters Ann New (& her husband Kenneth) and Susie Headley both of Fairfield, IL; and twin brother Ronald Riley (& his wife Anne) of Geff, IL. Also surviving are five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were two brothers Cecil and Arthur and his parents.
Funeral services for Donald Riley will be 1:30PM Sunday December 9, 2012 at Hosselton Funeral Home with burial in Bestow Cemetery at Geff, IL. Visitation will be 6-8PM Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at Hosselton Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to Round Prairie Youth Activities and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
