"Our prayers are with his family, for healing from such a great loss".  Fred to our family was a wonderful neighbor & friend.  When my husband was out of state working & I needed hay moved, when I asked Fred he was right there. As I thanked him for his help, he began to shed tears & said; Patti it makes my heart feel so good to help others, & besides you & Danny would be there to help me if I needed it.... 
We will see him again in Heaven!!!!!

I might not have that many memories with fred but the one I do have are the best. The one thing that I remember most was him always messing with me and my other cousins which you never think of until it comes to the time that those memories are the best things you have. New Harmony trips were the best when he would get out and play with all of us kids it is never going to be the same with out him but he will still be with all of forever and ever because he may be gone but he will always be in our hearts and the memories will never fade away. So I might not have alot of memories of him but I will hold on to the ones I do have forever. I LOVE YOU UNCLE FRED!!!!

As I think about all the Love and Memories that have been shared about our Fred.  I wish I had know all the different phases of Fred's life.  I knew his early family life.  That is when I got to know him best.  All the week-ends Fred and Shirley and the boys would come over to our house to help Kevin farm. From the cattle to the pigs and saving time to do some fishing.  Teasing and giving our kids the Claw.  What great memories. Then as our families grew up and got married and we shared in all of those times as families do. Yes the New Harmony Trips hold some very special memories of Fred and the Water Guns. Fred was always there. Not sure how those family times will be now that Fred will not be there. But I find I wish I knew more about Fred and his family at work. It seems he was always there for them too as he was for us.  Fred you will be truly missed.  Love to Shirley and her

I worked with Fred. I enjoyed him so much. I am really jumpy so he was always trying & usually succeeding in scaring me. He would just laugh. I would call him "big turd" or "old fart". He would say "Mrs Hooper i'm gonna tell Mr Hooper that he needs to line you out!" And when he would see my husband he would tell him that. Our favorite topic of discussion though were our grandkids! His eyes would just light up when he talked about them! He was a good,good man and i will miss him very much! I pray his family takes comfort in knowing how much he loved them & from knowing even at work his thoughts were of them & he talked of them always!

At Fred's funeral yesterday, Bro, Ray asked if anyone had a special memory of him, I did, but I had a lump in my throat the size of Texas!
One of the biggest things Fred and I had in common was we both married one of Ernest Gregories "The Prarie Farms Milk Man's" daughters, he had four,Barbara-my wife, Shirley, Kathy and sharon.
Once a year. for the last few years all four of the daughters and their entire family would spend a Holiday weekend at Harmony Park in Indiana.
We rented four cabins and had great 3 day weekends together. Fred and I would love to sit back in our comfy lawn chairs and watch our grandchildren become the best of friends. Our conversations would usually start off with how man fish we had caught lately and their exagerated sizes, the rest was our grandchildren. I feel we both would agree the sweetest sounding word we ever heard was GRANDPA!
I can just see Fred sitting on a gold bench in this beautiful garden telling anyone who will listen about his wonderful grandchildren, all six of them,I have five, but thanks to Harmony Park, his six have a very special place in "The Story Tellers" heart.

So Dalyn,Kiersen,Spencer, Trevor, Connor and Allie and a girlfriend Paige I love you and pray GOD wil comfort you through this difficult time in your lives

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Brach family in this very difficult and emotional time. Our hearts go out to you, Shirley, Michael/Jamie and children Connor, Trevor, Spencer and Allie - Stephen/Jennifer and children Dalyn and Kiersen. May you find peace and a little comfort as the days pass and the prior good memories come to mind. We'll miss Fred at the family gatherings. Love and hugs to you all!
