Fred Neil Reed

He was born on December 16, 1926 in Cisne to Joy and Cora (Campbell) Reed.

He married Ellen Macklin in Cisne on June 29, 1956, She preceded him in death on October 8, 2010.

Surviving are three sisters Betty (J.R.) Ayers of Cisne, Mildred (Gene) Obrecht of Cisne, Glenda (Marion) Elliott of St. Louis, MO, and several nieces and one nephew also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ellen and one brother Joseph Reed.

Fred worked in factory maintenance for General Motors in St. Louis. He was a member of the Anthony Doherty

Lodge # 1111 AF&AM of Cisne, Ainad Temple Shrine, was past worthy patron of Order of Eastern Star and a member of the American Legion.

Fred was a proud Army veteran having served in both World War II and Korea.

Masonic rites will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday February 14 at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, with funeral services immediately following. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. til time of service at the funeral home.

Burial with military honors will be held at Gunion Cemetery in rural Cisne.
