HENRY LINDER, 78, of Cisne, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Henry was born on October 18, 1939, in Wayne County, IL, to Raymond and Leda (McGill) Linder, the youngest of six. He married Betty Fitch on March 1, 1958, in Cisne. He was in the air force for eight years, after graduating from Eastern Illinois University he worked for the state of Illinois Dept. of Emergency Management until his retirement. He was always active in his church serving as a deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years. He was a member of Flora First Southern Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Deloris and Mayreta; and one brother Herman.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty; two daughters, Vickie (Wayne) McKnight of Flora and Cindy (Keith) Griggs of Saltillo, MS; one son, Stephen (Kelly) Linder of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Leslie, Jessica, Alexandra, Reuben, Sergio, Colin, Devon, Sean; great-grandchildren, Ian, Clara and Ava; two brothers, Arthur Linder and Vernie Linder.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018, from 5 to 7 pm at Hosselton Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at 10 am at Hosselton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Cisne Cemetery.

Arrangements under the direction of Hosselton Funeral Home, Cisne, IL.
