Kevin L. Massie

Kevin was born August 31, 1957 to Floyd Lyverre and Dorothy (McDowell) Massie in Wisconsin.

He was an oil field laborer and also worked in construction. He was a NASCAR Race Fan, an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneer Fan, and an outdoorsman. He was an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by a son Cody (Laura) Massie of Fairfield; two daughters Krista (Steve) Atteberry of Fairfield and Desiree (Sam) Opipari of Princeton, IN; one brother Stephen (Christine) Massie of Mt. Erie, IL, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a special friend, Rosiland Nelson of Mt. Carmel, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services for Kevin L. Massie will be Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 11:00am at the Mt. Erie Nazarene Church with burial following in West Cemetery with military rites at the graveside. Visitation will be from 10:00 until time of service at the church.
