Larry Atteberry

Larry was born on May 23, 1942 to Kathleen (Fraim) Atteberry and Elmo Atteberry in Mt. Erie. He enjoyed four-wheeler riding, hunting and farming with his brother, Garry back in the day. He had also been employed by Champion Labs and AMF. He then owned and operated Atteberry Machine and Tool with his son, Brad for over 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Chad.

He is survived by his long-time companion of 30 plus years, Kim Shryock, formerly of Olney, IL, his daughter, Lori (Chris) Schmittler of Ellery, IL, his son, Brad (Rebecca) Atteberry of Mt. Erie, IL, four grandchildren: Malia, Ty, Sommer and Jenna, and one brother, Garry (Sharon) Atteberry, also of Mt. Erie.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17th, 2017 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, IL.

Funeral service will be held at 1PM, with burial to follow at Scott Cemetery, Mt. Erie.

Memorials may be made to the Tristan Atteberry Scholarship Fund and envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
