Pauline Wells

Pauline was born December 5, 1932 at Enterprise, IL to Rae and Mamie (McCormick) Laird. She married Charles L. Wells March 27, 1955 at Johnsonville, IL.

Pauline was a teller at Mt. Erie State Bank and a homemaker. She collected cook books, loved to read, was a pianist and loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Cisne American Legion Auxiliary for 40 years; 55 year member at Elm River Brown Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Elm River Township Clerk for 32 years.

Pauline is survived by her husband Charles of Cisne, IL; three daughters Janna Pull (& her husband Heino) of Ellisville, MO; Mary Ann Lane (& her husband Brian) of Flora; Cara Jo Weaver (& her husband Kevin) of Cisne, IL; two sons Mark Wells (& his wife Tanya) of Geff, IL and Martin Wells (& his wife Susan) of Clayton, NC. Eleven grandchildren and three great grand children also survive.

Preceding her in death were four brothers Victor, Raleigh, Charles, and Bill; three sisters Hazel, Lois, and Faye and her parents.

Funeral services for Pauline Wells will be 10:30AM Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at Hosselton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Laird Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7PM Saturday, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Elm River Brown CP Church or American Diabetes Association and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
