A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, August 27, 2026 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 Clayton Boulevard, Clayton, North Carolina with Reverend Dr. J. Dan Hudson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.

A private inurnment will be at the Pinecrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.

She was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico on December 2, 1934 to the late Jose A. Gonzalez and the late Petra Morales Gonzalez.

She enjoyed spending time with family, growing plants and most of all Christmas, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Gutierrez is survived by her three children, 7 grandchildren; 16

great grandchildren;
