Albert Mark Arthurs

Born August 7, 1953, in Chippewa, PA. He was the son of the late Albert Joseph Arthurs and Mary Anna (Suit) Arthurs.

He graduated from Beaver High School in PA. 1972 and earned a degree from the Electronics Institute in Pittsburg, PA. 1974 He continued his certifications through the American Society for Quality Control, Management, Auditing and Engineering throughout his career. Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Operations Management from University of Massachusetts in 2012. He also held Professional certifications in Federal Communications commission, an independent agency of the US government.

Mark worked for several decades at Digital Equipment Corp, Westfield Mass and Compaq Corp in Maynard Mass. He also served as a voluntary fireman for the town of Granville, Mass for 13 years. He later opened an office in NC for Karrie International where he served as General Manager and Vice President for 23 years.

Mark was a fun loving, generous and devoted husband and father. He was an accomplished carpenter, plumber and electrician, who enjoyed music, golfing, horseshoes and cornhole tournaments with family and friends. He was also a devoted Steelers Fan!

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia (Jandzinski) Arthurs and his son Gaeton Laprade. His sisters, Janet, Jill, Joyce and Jodi; his brothers, Brian, Bobby and Tom, and several nieces, nephews and many caring friends. He was preceded in death by his brother David, who passed away in July.

A gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date in Chippewa, PA.
