Faye was born in Johnston County, NC, on November 10, 1940, and was a daughter to the late Florence Willie Ellis. She graduated from Broughton High School in Raleigh, NC, and retired from Northern Telecom.
Faye loved her family, traveling, and shopping. She was an excellent baker and made the best banana pudding and chocolate pies. Faye was a loving mother and grandmother, and her family will miss her dearly.
Per Faye’s wishes, there will be no formal services.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne Bayles; her daughter, Lisa Hawks; brother, Dwight Ellis, and sister, Debra Langston.
Faye is survived by her son, Danny Hawks and his wife Kelly; daughter, Kelly Bolus and her husband Thomas; grandchildren, Amy Hawks, Aaron Hawks, and Jena Pearce.
