APEX – Lenora Ann Ewing Buxton, age 70, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 2, 2014.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, December 4, 2014 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton with Pastor Steven Hepting officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum of Pinecrest Memorial Park.
She was the daughter of Harriet McCarthy Abram and the late William Ewing. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cassandra King and a brother, Mack Ewing.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Bonnie Buxton; son, Christopher King; step-daughter, Tonia Denning; step-son, Brian Buxton; one granddaughter, Amber Denning; and a brother, Charles Ewing.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Thursday, December 4, 2014 prior to the service at the funeral home.
