Ann E. Ellington Strickland

Mrs. Ann E. Strickland, 76, of Raleigh passed away Tuesday, June 7 at her home. She was born February 4, 1940 in Pitt County, daughter of the late Thurston and Frances Ellington. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Earl Woolard, who was from Washington, NC. Mrs. Strickland grew up in Greenville, NC and was a 1957 graduate of J.H. Rose High School in Greenville. She married Howard Strickland on December 1, 1974. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. She is survived by her husband, Howard Strickland of Raleigh, two sons, Bill Bradley and wife Marlene of Washington, NC and Noel Bradley and wife Juanita of Willow Spring, NC, grandchildren, Stephanie Bradley Amick and husband Joe of West Chester, OH, Sharon Bradley Schaaf and husband Brian of Mason, OH, Garrett Bradley, and Jason Bradley both of Angier, NC, step-granddaughter, Lesley Smith Carroll and husband Brandn of Stafford, VA, and ten great grandchildren.
